Zion Lutheran Church is very much into having members and friends of their congregation create artwork as a form of giving honor to God, and attempting to bring the glory of heaven, to earth, through art. One such painting is "The Kingdom of God is..." which was done by the youth groups of both New Hope Community and Zion Lutheran Church. What they did was have someone read part of the Bible and then they painted what they believed. Then after a couple minutes of painting they would rotate the canvas and read another piece of scripture and the process would be done over again. Another painting done by Karin Pejack, the pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, is a watercolor depicting the Crucifixion of Christ.
